The Climate Smart Cities Challenge is an international initiative that seeks to help four cities around the world achieve a net-zero carbon footprint, with the support of over 20 partners, including Ignite Sweden. They are working with partners and innovators to create a better future for everyone.
The winners of this challenge were four teams: Thriving Places, Curitiba Smart Neighbourhoods, Green Routes, and Green Community Cities. These winning teams will share up to €400,000 each to help Bristol, Bogotá, Makindye Ssabagabo and Curitiba in their transition to climate-neutral cities.
