Synch is proud to partner with Nästa generation Sverige to support the expansion of SAO-jobben – a groundbreaking initiative that provides lower secondary school students in underserved communities with their first paid work experience.
SAO-jobben is an innovative work model that offers young students real employment during the period allocated for practical training (PRAO), structured as two hours per week over the course of one year – integrated into their school schedule.
Through this initiative, students gain practical work experience, earn income, acquire new skills, expand their professional networks, and increase their motivation to attend school. A digital platform and app have been developed to enable the long-term scaling of SAO-jobben across Sweden.
“We are honoured to support SAO-jobben and Nästa generation Sverige in their important mission. At Synch, we believe technology and law can be powerful tools for social inclusion. Helping build the legal foundation for the SAO platform and app has been a meaningful way for us to contribute to a fairer future.”
— Jim Runsten, CEO, Synch
“We are proud of our partnership with Synch. Their legal expertise has been invaluable in developing the platform and app that are essential to scaling SAO-jobben and reaching more young people in underserved communities.”
— Evin Cetin, co-founder, Nästa generation Sverige
Synch’s team consisted of Elisavet Dravalou Samor, Oscar Tolofsen and Johan Ragnar.
