Founded in 2008, Mattecentrum is a Swedish non-profit organization offering free mathematics tutoring to children and young people across Sweden. Through nationwide tutoring sessions and digital platforms such as Matteboken.se and Pluggakuten.se, the organisation works to strengthen students’ knowledge, confidence and long-term interest in mathematics. Around 500 volunteers contribute each year, and all services are provided free of charge.
Mattecentrum is funded through a combination of public grants, corporate sponsorships, foundation support and individual donations, enabling the organisation to reach thousands of students annually.
