Synch assists as PolarVentures invests in the food tech company Veat

Synch has assisted PolarVentures, a subsidiary of Polarbrödsgruppen, with its investment in the Swedish startup company Veat.

Veat focuses on vending machines offering healthy and sustainable meals and snacks. Synch’s team of experts was led by Andreas Börjesson.

"Synch and Andreas have been an invaluable support in both drafting agreements and facilitating dialogue between the parties to ensure the deal was completed as efficiently as possible says Fanny Näslund, Business Developer at PolarVentures.

Veat is established in multiple locations across Stockholm. Every morning, food is prepared in a central kitchen and distributed to vending machines located at underground stations, schools, hospitals and businesses. With its innovative business model, Veat helps lower the barriers for people to eat healthier and more sustainably.

PolarVentures is a subsidiary of Polarbrödsgruppen and was established in 2023 with a mission to accelerate the transition towards a regenerative food system – one that strengthens our planet, not depletes it. The plan going forward is to continue building and investing in companies that support the group’s efforts to transform the food system.
