Synch assists when a leading IAM player is created
Synch has assisted SecMaker and its owners in connection with the merger with Pointsharp. The merger creates a leading software provider in identity and access management.
Pointsharp, with the support of Main Capital, is on a growth journey to become a leading European supplier in identity and access management. The acquisition of SecMaker is the first step for Pointsharp in their buy-and-build strategy.
SecMaker delivers certificate-based IT security solutions in the Nordic market with a strong position in healthcare and the public sector. SecMaker protects digital identities for 1.8 million users in the Nordic region and supports customers from offices in Stockholm and Helsinki with its comprehensive, Swedish-developed software Net iD. With the cloud service Live iD European customers allows to have better control over users and digital identities without expensive investments.
The combined group will form a leading software vendor serving more than 1,200 organizations. This already includes joint customers such as the Swedish Migration Agency and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Together with Pointsharp and other planned acquisitions, the goal is to create a one-stop shop for identity and access management.
